Hi, I was just wondering if the date of birth you have for Hannah Scholes is correct.

My grandmother has a memorial broach that was given to her by her mother, it's been passed down a number of years.

Anyway, there's an inscription on it, it says:
John Brierley on March 03 1836 at 58 yrs
Hannah Brierley March 18 1851 at 72 yrs

I believe these are the dates in which they died, the broach is consistent with memorial jewelry of that century, it has pieces of hair in the middle, under a piece of glass. Kind of creepy actually, ha ha.

Hannah would have been born in 1779, could this be possible for your Hannah Scholes? That would mean that she had been born 5 years earlier than what you listed.
