Individual Note: No information about the origin of Thomas. He was not baptised at the Parish Church of St Swithins and, in fact, there are no Haydock baptisms in the parish register between 1736 and 1775.. Ther are no entries in the IGI for Nottinghamshire, and no obvious links with adjacent counties. Mary Whelton is not in the IGI.
Is it possible that Thomas came from Lancashire, the home of the Haydocks? There has to be a Lancashire link somewhere
